Bertie (Til Schweiger) hung up his racing career some time ago and now runs an auto repair shop and an adjoining kart track, both more badly than well. When he falls behind on the repayment of a loan and the bank threatens to force the sale of his property, Bertie hatches a daredevil plan: the winner's prize at the upcoming big 1990s race on the Bilster Berg could solve his financial problems in one fell swoop. A race against time begins: he has one month to turn his old Opel into a rocket from the glory days of the Manta. And when his ex-wife Uschi (Tina Ruland) suddenly walks back into Bertie's life, asking him to look after their son Daniel (Tim Oliver Schultz), the month of chaos is complete. Especially since Daniel's world now revolves entirely around Tessa (Charlotte Krause), and she is demanding. Jens Hajek appears as the suave art dealer "Dubois", and Vivien Sczesny lets rip as "Fanny". We can't wait, and we're delighted!
