Alexander Leopold Schank plays the filmmaker Mathias Wald, who has made the leap out of drug addiction and into a self-determined life. "Leichtigkeit & Schwere" is a film about a life full of addictions, compulsions and fears, and the way out of them. The largely non-verbal scenes are underpinned by Alexander's voice in voice-over, lending the film a deeply personal dimension.
