With Loving Attention to Detail

That a small role is taken as seriously as any other is rare, recounts actress Laura Maria Heid. While filming the episode "Atemlos" of the series "Letzte Spur Berlin", however, she found that it can be done differently. Director Florian Kern took time in advance for her character and considered together with her how the role is to be understood, what motivates and moves the woman. "That was wonderful, because I was only there for one day, yet he invested so much meaning in this character too." And so that single shooting day became a very productive time that showed Laura Maria Heid above all the loving attention to detail with which the series is produced. "They take great pains, the set design is simply wonderful, attention is paid to the small things — it is no mere ticking-off of tasks." "Letzte Spur Berlin" links the most varied fates of missing people with the private entanglements of the detectives of the Berlin LKA: Detective Chief Inspector Oliver Radek (Hans-Werner Meyer) and his colleagues Mina Amiri (Jasmin Tabatabai), Lucy Elbe (Josephin Busch) and Marc Lohmann (Bert Tischendorf). In "Atemlos", Laura Maria Heid plays Melina Theiss, the friend and flatmate of the victim. One evening the two young women are sitting together with their friends, and Melina learns that her friend wants to get married the next day. A quarrel flares up between the men, and in the end the couple's romantic plans do not take the course the two had hoped for. The new episodes have just been shot and will air on ZDF from spring 2017.
