A mysterious murder of a young girl brings investigator Maik Briegand — who, like his father and brother, became a police officer back in GDR times — back to his old home: Lauchhammer and the mining-shaped region of Lusatia.
The crime series "Lauchhammer" was filmed in Lusatia in the summer of 2021, and Ella Lee plays the inspector's daughter, who attempts the impossible balancing act between understanding her tradition-minded mining family and her own life as an environmental activist.
