Zwischen uns die Mauer

„Zwischen uns die Mauer“ was celebrated by audiences last night in Starnberg at the opening of the Fünf Seen Film Festival, and we are very proud of both our young actresses, Lea Freund and Luise Hipp! This wonderful love story is set in the final years before our country''s division and during the fall of the Wall. The film is authentic and dramatic without merely trading in clichés, and certainly without being black and white. Moving and lovingly detailed, it left audiences thrilled. We wish this wonderful film great success on its release on 3 October 2019!Luise Hipp plays a girl from the West travel group who, at the invitation of a Protestant pastor (Götz Schubert), follows him to East Berlin for a shared exchange; and through Lea Freund, in the lead role of Anna, we breathe every second of the film.
