After a town festival spirals completely out of control, Lilli has to move away with her parents and her dog Bonsai. In her new home, the girl's favourite place to visit is the zoo, where she gets to know the keeper Toni.
But a nasty animal thief is up to no good there too — and Lilli has to find the little baby elephant Ronni, whom the villain has abducted. To do so, she teams up with the neighbours' boy Jess.
