Felix and his friends have to defend their school once more, but this time the adventure sends them on a very special class trip. When new pupil Melanie turns up at the Otto Leonhard grammar school, Felix's world is turned upside down.
Much to the suspicion of Ella and Felix's gang: they believe Melanie is behind the many small thefts that have been happening at the school ever since she appeared.
On the class trip, things rapidly come to a head — not least because Felix has previously been let in on the secret of shrinking by the school ghost, Otto Leonhard.
