Kevin Brand is shooting a feature film in Spain
Kevin Brand lives in both Berlin and Madrid and is currently working with director Ángeles González-Sinde, a prominent figure in the Spanish cultural scene, known for analysing romantic relationships with extraordinary sensitivity.
Together with her, Kevin, in his role as KOSTIA, explores the nature of love — and does so in a particularly luminous mode of storytelling.
Since their divorce decades ago, Geraldine and John have seen each other as rarely as possible. The unexpected death of their daughter Kim in Spain, however, forces them into a shared journey. They must not only learn to live together and find their way back to one another, but also set out in search of Kim's husband Kostia and their grandchild, whose existence they knew nothing about.
The heartache of the past collides with a challenging present; personal setbacks are overcome, and new love is born.
