Things have gone pretty badly for Katsche, Kopp und Ko. When the head of the Bochum job centre''s boss suddenly isn''t where it belongs, and you were the last person to see the lady alive — then you''d really have been better off staying in bed that morning. But it''s too late for that now: the two long-term unemployed men Kai "Katsche" Bongartz and Stefan Kopp, along with their hot-tempered instructor Harry Korz, are prime murder suspects.
To prove their innocence to the detective in charge at the Bochum CID, the three have to take action themselves. Unfortunately, the whole world seems to have conspired against them, and somehow every step of their investigation leads to further crimes. Unjustly, as a result, they can no longer move freely around Bochum, Wattenscheid and the rest of the world, because several arrest warrants are now out against the three "detectives of the heart". So much foolishness really ought to be rewarded with a happy ending.
