Nomination for the Karl-Valentin-Orden 2021

The Munich society Narrhalla nominates the actor, cabaret artist, singer and artistic director Dieter Hallervorden for the Karl-Valentin-Orden 2021 in recognition of his multifaceted artistic work.

The reasoning: Dieter Hallervorden, who can look back on a decades-long, successful career in the film, literary, theatre and music industries, impresses not only through his incredibly multifaceted output, but also masters the German language in the most varied of ways, and his creative coinages such as "Palim palim" and "Zumsel" are known throughout Germany.

Always with his finger on the pulse, this multi-talented cabaret artist – creator of the comic figure "Didi", founder of the Berlin cabaret stage "Die Wühlmäuse" and artistic director of the Schlosspark Theater in Berlin – is a widely noted voice of conscience who passionately takes a stand on the burning issues of the day.
