Sociable and wild. Shari thinks big. She wants to set the course so that one day she can make a real „difference" in the world. At home with Mum and Dad, a framed article from the regional paper hangs above the sofa, billing her as the „wonder child from Burundi". Yet she is Berlin-born. The article praises her outstanding achievements at school as well as her commitment to the Berlinale youth jury, the chess club and the inventors' club. Shari knows she deserves the praise — the everyday racism she does not… but she takes on that fight too.
