Senna was a daredevil in the cockpit, an extraordinary talent and more than just a folk hero: he is the idol of generations of racing drivers. A life lived in the fast lane, as Senna's was, could only end tragically and spectacularly: on the circuit at Imola, Italy, Senna was killed in a crash at the San Marino Grand Prix. The legendary reputation of the "Magic" one endures.
