BAD BANKS

The "bad banks" get their comeuppance! In a star-studded six-parter, director Christian Schwochow turns his attention to the murky machinations of the financial institutions. At the centre of the story is the young investment banker Jana Liekam (Paula Beer), who works at a major international bank in Luxembourg, and Jörg Westphal can be seen in a small but choice role as a financial-law expert. Berlinale premiere: Zoopalast 1 — Wednesday, 21 February at 5 pm. TV premiere: ZDF — Saturday, 3 March at 9:45 pm. It continues on 4 March at 10:00 pm, before the final episodes are scheduled for 5 March at 10:15 pm. Anyone who doesn't want to wait that long can also watch the series on Arte, where all the episodes air on 1 and 2 March from 8:15 pm.
