SIEBENPUNKT

A village in Germany. An open-air pool by the quarry lake. In the "New York" discotheque the locals sit over their beers while the youngsters celebrate the end of their school days. It turns into a fateful night. Jörg Westphal plays Siggi, one of the lead roles, alongside Lina Wendel, Matti Schmidt-Schaller, Rainer Reiners, Justus Johanssen, Jannik Hinsch, Nele Ahrend and others.SIEBENPUNKT was shot in the summer of 2017 with great passion and is the graduation film of directing graduate Jonas Walter from the Konrad Wolf Film University Babelsberg, in co-production with MDR. SIEBENPUNKT screens in the Medium-Length Film competition on 25 January at 5:30 pm, on 26 January at 6:00 pm, on 27 January at 4:30 pm and on the closing day, 28 January, at 8:00 pm.
