Until 30 March you can watch Jens in the sauna. "Aufguss" is the title of the new (some say it is his best) play by René Heinersdorff — with Hugo Egon Balder, Jeanette Biedermann, René Heinersdorff, Madeleine Niesche and Jens Hajek.
A cosy weekend in the wellness area of the Hotel Klostermühle truly looks rather different. Dieter, a successful detergent manufacturer and self-made man, wants to give his current companion a very special gift — which calls for some considerable powers of persuasion. And Lothar, head of a flourishing children''s clinic, wants to receive a very special gift of his own, one that demands diplomatic finesse and discretion. As cover, his assistant and right-hand woman, Emelie, has to accompany him.
Between sauna, steam bath and plunge pool their paths cross, and with every infusion of steam the misunderstandings multiply, until no one quite knows who actually wants what. And when a stranger with the mysterious name "The Brain" turns up, the temperature rises well beyond boiling point. Who is he? Father Christmas with a sack full of presents? Or Knecht Ruprecht with the birch rod? Or merely a harmless sauna-goer?
