"Pumpen" tells the story of a mismatched pair of siblings facing a problem: Mia (Lotte Becker) and Tom (Timur Bartels) are supposed to take over their parents' fitness studio in Magdeburg, which is on the brink of financial collapse.
The trouble is, the two never wanted anything to do with the studio. But the last wishes of their late mother (Katharina Abt) leave them no choice. And so Mia and Tom are thrown into an unfamiliar world and grow, bit by bit, into a dysfunctional, chaotic but also thoroughly endearing fitness family. Among them is Jarno Mindner as "Justin", who always knows exactly what's in fashion at any given moment.
