Annual Reception of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation

Annual Reception of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation

The annual reception of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation — attended by Claudia Roth, Minister of State for Culture and the Media, and of course by the Foundation's President, Hermann Parzinger — was an exciting and glittering event set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Ishtar Gate in the Pergamon Museum.

With its museums, libraries, archives and research institutes, the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation is one of the most significant cultural institutions in the world. Its outstanding collections span every field of cultural heritage: from archaeological and ethnological objects to fine art, literature and music. These form the basis of intensive research and educational work. The combination of art and culture with scholarship and research unmistakably shapes the Foundation's profile. Nadine Heidenreich conducted many fascinating interviews with young staff from the various institutions about current projects, findings and pressing research questions. Straight afterwards, Nadine booked a number of family programmes at various Berlin museums, because the event had reminded her once again what wonderful offerings there are that we simply make far too little use of.
