Isabelle Redfern premieres "Der Lügenbaron" on 5 April

On Saturday 5 April, Isabelle Redfern makes her debut at the Schlosspark Theater Berlin in the French comedy "Der Lügenbaron" by Eric Assous, whose two-hander "Achterbahn" has already enjoyed great success at the Schlosspark Theater with our actress Birge Funke and Robert Atzorn.

"Der Lügenbaron" was translated into German by Dieter Hallervorden, and in further roles you can see our actors Harald Effenberg and Birge Funke, with Désirée Nick in the lead.

In "Der Lügenbaron", Isabelle shows that she has a fine command of the light touch of boulevard comedy. And anyone curious about the other facets of the performing arts this remarkably versatile woman is capable of would do well to listen to her opera arias.

Who knows — perhaps a writer will be inspired to create a genre-spanning project in which Isabelle can display her balancing act between the classical and the modern, and in comedic form at that.
