When my generation was small and allowed to watch a crime drama in the evening, every episode of "Tatort" or "Der Kommissar" served up the tasteful interior of yet another villa in Grünwald near Munich. Murder mostly happened among the refined classes. That is why I read with such pleasure the role descriptions in this script: a tattoo artist, a kitchen hand, a woman in a headscarf, rapping youngsters, and locations such as the Märkisches Viertel. The story revolves around a star chef, but he has gone missing.
