Last winter, Olivia had remarkable experiences in the male-dominated world of Iranian film, which at first felt intimidating to the young actress. First we had to explain to the production that a German student does not put on make-up as though she were about to perform at the state opera. An Iranian woman would never step out onto the street without dramatic make-up. The film crew had also very rarely seen a woman''s hair before — and certainly never that of a blonde. No one was prepared for someone like Olivia, but then there was precisely this role of a German student… The contrasting worlds grew close to one another over the course of filming, and the result is a film well worth looking forward to.
