Trainee at the Hotel, in the Driving Seat in Life

We are very excited and looking forward to the new ZDF series with our wonderful Nhung Hong! From 1 February it airs every Wednesday at 7:25 pm. And here is what you can look forward to:
On the day the staff of Schwerin's traditional Hotel Mondial are handed a new boss seemingly out of nowhere, the daily battle on the guest front takes on a new dimension. For Eva de Vries (Gesine Cukrowski) announces a rigorous austerity drive and leaves no stone unturned.
On the same day, a young woman stands in the hotel lobby, equally ready to shake the elegant establishment to its foundations: she returns to the place where, as a child, she had to witness her mother disappear on a night that was traumatic for her. Now Lara Hildebrandt (Joy Ewulu) is determined to finally find out what happened in the hotel back then.
But instead of taking up her planned post as assistant to the management, she soon finds herself at the reception desk. For now Eva is her boss, and Eva has no intention whatsoever of tolerating her at her side.
Without any job experience, Lara must now prove herself through hard work in the hotel world — as dazzling as it is hierarchical — and find her place among the staff. Side by side with the sharp-tongued, tough trainee Linh (Nhung Hong), the strict head receptionist Raik (Daniel Aichinger), the housekeeping manager Jeremy (Salvatore Greco), the warm-hearted concierge Maria (Lea Sophie Salfeld), the shy chambermaid Svetlana (Sarah Palarczyk) and the self-confessed hedonist Paolo (Louis Held), they wrestle with the daily challenges their guests bring with them. The question of how to act with professional distance and discretion, even as sometimes incredible, sometimes bizarre dramas unfold, also has to be answered anew again and again.
