Honig im Kopf with Nastassja Revvo

Even though Dieter Hallervorden does not himself play the unforgettable role of Amandus from Til Schweiger''s film, this production at the Schlosspark Theater is well worth seeing. Nastassja Revvo and Achim Wolff rightly earned plenty of bravos for their gripping portrayal of granddaughter and grandfather — which is not to say that Karsten Speck and Astrid Kohrs are not at least as fantastic as the parents as the stars of the cinema film. We were tremendously proud of our Nastassja, who, despite her 21 years, manages to give us the illusion: this here is a child. And without ever seeming silly or childish. René Heinersdorff''s production is a co-production between the Schlosspark Theater, the Theater an der Kö in Düsseldorf and the Komödie am Altstadtmarkt in Braunschweig. "Honig im Kopf" can be seen in Berlin until September. Der Tagesspiegel writes:

Nastassja Revvo may be twice the age of her character, yet you would hardly know it, so completely does she sink into the child''s role, aided by button eyes, a snub nose and plaits that the Nike trainers gamely work against. And by a girlish voice that cuts clean across the auditorium without ever turning shrill. Simply ravishingly girlish.
