Herbert Schöberl - premiere at the Winterhuder Fährhaus

On 26 August Herbert Schöberl has his premiere in Hamburg at the Winterhuder Fährhaus with „Der Mann in der Badewanne". „Theater Kontraste" offers a counterpoint to the usual boulevard fare at the Winterhuder Fährhaus, and from today presents the German premiere of Lukas Linder's „Der Mann in der Badewanne, oder wie man ein Held wird". In drastic, bizarre and intensely black-humoured images, the young Swiss writer Lukas Linder portrays the unfreedom of a person who wants to be moral in an immoral world, thereby raising the question of whether justice and good conduct are even possible in a society where these categories have long since been corrupted. With breakneck verbal wit he describes, in this dark, parable-like fairy tale, a world to which a person who believes in it with all their heart is fatefully delivered up. Director: Ayla Yeginer. Performances always begin at 19:30!
