A Slice of Großstadtrevier at the St. Pauli Theater

Maria Ketikidou on stage in her role as HARRY for the first time

Maria Ketikidou and the whole precinct — not on TV, but live on the stage of Hamburg's St. Pauli Theater. This is going to be an event!

Precinct chief Frau Küppers and her team take to the stage of the St. Pauli Theater, but not simply to tell another episode of "Großstadtrevier":

Early one morning, somewhere in Hamburg: the series ensemble gathers for a photo call before filming begins. But the door of the make-up trailer jams — and suddenly everyone is locked in. While outside a persistent fan demands the return of "Jan" — a reminder of the most famous ensemble member of all — threatening that otherwise there will be no cake and no escape, inside a gloriously absurd, comic and melancholy round dance unfolds about acting, the mechanics of a TV series, stage fright, fans, early colleagues, old heroes, friendship — and the great drama behind the small screen.

"Ein Stück Großstadtrevier" is a "theatumentary" somewhere between comedy, chamber play and real-life madness, full of the finest wit and a dash of mutiny. And so the audience gets to see their familiar heroes live, completely differently, and from an entirely new angle.

As a special highlight, the ensemble has invited a whole array of Hamburg musicians to present their very own version of the famous Truck Stop hit about the "Großstadtrevier" at the end of the evening.
