Another lovely piece of news today: the nominating committee of the Grimme-Preis has decided to send the ZDF three-parter "Unterleuten" into competition for the coveted award - and as the only multi-part work, we are up against series and television films.
Our wonderful Úna Lir plays the youngest daughter; here she is on the poster, sitting under the table and simply expecting her production to win.
Surrounded by untouched nature, forests and cornfields lies the Brandenburg village of Unterleuten, home to 250 souls. But appearances deceive, for the rural idyll is rife with gossip, conflict and secrets.
