The KiKA series „GONG! – Mein spektrakuläres Leben“ follows the everyday life of Eileen, who is autistic: she is new at the school and everything is still strange and unfamiliar. On top of that, she is supposed to head off straight away on a get-to-know-you trip with her class — for Eileen a horrifying prospect. So she sets out to sabotage the excursion. But when, thanks to her brother and his best friend, she sees how wonderful even unforeseen experiences can be when you share them with good friends, her goal shifts: she wants to find a best friend before the class trip, so as to get through it. Not so easy, when socially accepted behaviour follows such peculiar rules. On her search, Eileen meets Clara (Greta Caspary), Fred and Gabriel. The four of them grow together as a group of friends, each in their own way, and set off together on the adventure of the school camp.
Greta had a tremendous amount of fun shooting her first leading role, and we are delighted with this fantastic new series, which is genuinely gripping for every age!
