The official ceremony takes place in New York City on 25 November 2024, where the Indian actor Vir Das will read out the nominees and then announce:
"AND THE EMMY IN BEST KIDS LIVE ACTION GOES TO… GONG!!"
All right, that last sentence is still wishful thinking, but everything else is true.

A class trip is coming up — a horror scenario for Eileen (Julia Kovacs). So she sets out to sabotage the excursion. But when, thanks to her brother and his best friend, she sees how wonderful even unforeseen experiences can be when shared with good friends, her goal changes: she wants to find a best friend of her own before the class trip, just to get through it. Not so easy when socially accepted behaviour follows such strange rules. On her quest, Eileen meets Fred (Paolo Vito Durst), Clara (Greta Caspary) and Gabriel (Samuel Kaiser). The four grow together as a group of friends, each in their own way, and set off together on the adventure of the school camp.
