On 21 June in Munich, René Sydow won neither a curious creature like the "Tuttlinger Krähe" nor an odd bottle-opener like the "Rostocker Koggenzieher", but something thoroughly real and filling. With "Die Goldene Weißwurscht", the Studentenwerk München and the Kulturleben association served up a cultural delicacy — a five-star, four-course menu of small-stage art, for four artists had made it into the final of the Goldene Weißwurscht 2014. While the finalists were, quite literally, playing "for the sausage", the audience and the expert jury could enjoy a cabaret feast for the eyes and ears.
