Granny Kratzenstein in "Diese Kaminskis" is a thoroughly cunning old lady, played by the enchanting Gerda Böken, who often takes pleasure in not always being cast as the nice one. The premise of this black-humoured satire on the countless unspeakable docu-soaps: the Kaminski half-brothers smell big money. The three ill-matched siblings have bought up the business of a local undertaker who has retired. True to the shrewd observation that everyone dies sooner or later and that this line of work therefore promises dead-cert profits, the inexperienced young entrepreneurs throw themselves straight into their new venture. With a run-down office and minimal, inadequate equipment, however, the Kaminskis find it hard to make a good impression.
