Whenever seasoned German male actors are summoned to Russia to film, what is it always about? Yes, that's right — soldiers of the German Wehrmacht in the Second World War. Patrick Joswig plays just such a soldier in the Russian feature film "V - Escape from Hell", currently being shot in and around St Petersburg in the white Russian winter. The German officer guards four Russian prisoners at the Usedom airfield as they plot their escape, and he increasingly catches on to their plans. The young actor in the photos is called Evgeny Serzin, and the strikingly handsome dark-haired man is the Russian superstar Pavel Priluchny.
