Nora (Lena Urzendowsky) grows up right at Kottbusser Tor in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Here, in the turbulent heart of Berlin, she is forever surrounded by people whose lives do not always run a straight course and who come from the most varied cultures the world over. Now, as Nora slowly grows up and her body changes, she feels more and more lost in the world and does not know how things are meant to go on. For her sister Jule (Lena Klenke) and Jule's best friend Aylin (Elina Vildanova), life looks somewhat different. For these young women, everything revolves around styling, fashion and presenting it all on social media. At first Nora too seems to give in to the pressure of being beautiful for others, but when Romy (Jella Haase) appears, she teaches Nora to stand by herself and her body.
