Director Wolfgang Groos is making the sequel to the cinema hit „Enkel für Anfänger", and our Franka Roche is on board in a sizeable supporting role as „Josie".
„Enkel für Fortgeschrittene" continues the story of the sprightly stand-in grandparents: after her year in New Zealand, Karin (Maren Kroymann) returns to Germany full of drive and energy. And she will need plenty of both: together with her friends Philippa (Barbara Sukowa) and Gerhard (Heiner Lauterbach), she takes over the running of an after-school club — pubescent teenagers, wild party nights and romantic entanglements among young and old included. No question about it: the new tasks are quite a handful and turn the lives of everyone involved thoroughly upside down — and Franka as „Josie" plays her part in it! The cinema release is planned for 26 October 2023, and we are very much looking forward to it already!
