Straight after completing his diploma at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hanover, Carsten Faseler took up his first guest engagement in Marburg. He appears in one of the loveliest works of world literature: A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare. He plays Lysander in the open-air spectacle of the Hessisches Landestheater Marburg. Theatre in the open is always louder, more anarchic and more irreverent than chamber drama in a darkened arts space. Beneath the bare sky, laughter comes more freely. With Shakespeare's blithely malicious masterpiece, Marburg's market square becomes, once again, a theatre of the city and of the world.
