First the Nude Photos, Then the Murder

First the Nude Photos, Then the Murder

It is fiction, but suspiciously close to reality: nude photos of a young girl are circulated online, taken by one of her ex-boyfriends. They spread across social media at a furious pace. The girl is exposed, in front of the whole world. What happens next becomes a case for the investigators in "Ein Fall für zwei": the ex-boyfriend in question is found dead. Henry Horn plays Jakob, one of the teenagers suspected of the murder. He was once together with the girl, and his skater crew beat the young man up after the photos went into circulation. They did not deal the fatal blow, but as her ex-boyfriend, revenge and reparation could well be Jakob's motive. "You come across cyberbullying everywhere, so the subject felt immediately familiar to me. I didn't need long to get into the role." To get a feel for the crime series, which has been a success for decades, Henry watched a few of the older episodes beforehand. "I was pretty nervous, because it was a really big role and I hadn't shot anything for a while. But the moment I was on set, everything was fine. The shoot went brilliantly." Henry found the scenes at the half-pipe with the crew especially cool. They come very close to the way young people experience life, and they grow tense, because the crew goes after the ex-boyfriend when he suddenly turns up there. What the young actor also found exciting in these scenes was that he had a double. Henry reckons he can skateboard reasonably well, but he left the tricks on the half-pipe to the professional after all. "I think the episode 'Ninas Fall' is going to be great. There's a lot of action and the subject is very topical. If they edit it cleverly, it's bound to land well!"
