DER HEIMATLOSE by Kai Stänicke celebrates its world premiere as part of the Berlinale 2026, and we are especially delighted that Louis Jérôme Wagenbrenner was able to be part of this marvellous ensemble.
The debut film opens this year's Perspectives section: Friday, 13 February 2026 at 18:00 at the BlueMax Theater.
After fourteen years away, Hein returns to his home village on a small island, but the tight-knit community no longer recognises him. They demand a trial in which the stranger must prove his identity.
