The "Goldener Spatz" for König Laurin - Maximilian Diehle

Congratulations to our wonderful Maxe — "König Laurin" has caught the "Goldener Spatz"! Max plays Crassus, which is a nice little joke to begin with, since Crassus means "fat" in Latin. Crassus is the henchman of the antagonist Wittich, supporting him in his dubious schemes just as a proper squire should! Crassus and Stultus — "the fat one" and "the daft one"! This film, inspired by a well-known thirteenth-century South Tyrolean legend, could really clean up this year, for it is also nominated for the children''s media award "Der weiße Elefant" and for the children''s film audience prize at the Filmfest München.
