Christoph Drobig is becoming an ensemble member of the legendary and one-of-a-kind Berlin Prime Time Theater in Wedding. He makes his debut there on 26 July."Gutes Wedding, schlechtes Wedding" is the world''s first theatre sitcom and the theatre''s long-running hit. With plenty of humour — best described as a mix of "Friends" and "The Simpsons" seasoned with Wedding local pride — you meet here all the crazy, charming and eccentric characters who make Wedding, Berlin and its surroundings so unique. It''s about kebab-shop cab drivers, ex-Stasi agents, mullet-wearing postmen, Saxon-drawling Satanists, neighbourhood tarts and Prenzlberg wankers. Each episode forms a self-contained story and runs for four weeks at a time. At the start of every episode there''s a short recap of events so far on the screen, so that newcomers can quickly get into the "GWSW world". At this point, however, we have to warn of the risk of addiction that comes with consuming the episodes. More than 60% of the audience won''t miss a single instalment of this cult show.
