The new one is hot. It can do a lot, impresses with its lines and looks good on the road, reckons Christoph Brüggemann. He means the new Ford Mustang. The actor should know — after all, he got to test the car exclusively while shooting the commercial in South Africa. The car was put in the spotlight with staggering effort. Roads were closed, trailer runs and real driving were carried out, and footage for right-hand traffic in Europe was shot amid four-lane left-hand traffic. The level of difficulty was correspondingly high. "Sometimes it was very adventurous, but I love that sort of thing," Christoph Brüggemann enthuses about the shoot. Above all, he got to do much of the driving himself, because he could hit the mark more precisely than the stuntman, the actor recounts. What is normally impossible for insurance reasons was made possible here. After all, this was about perfection. What Christoph Brüggemann achieved and was allowed to do impressed even the most experienced crew members on set. The assistant director and unit manager, Tony, noted with astonishment that in 20 years of shooting experience he had never seen an actor allowed to do as much of the driving himself as Christoph, especially the run for the Russian arm. In other words: Christoph is one cool customer and looks outrageously good behind the wheel of this red beast too. From the start of 2017, this hot machine is available for anyone to buy.
