The Allianz Arena shortly before kick-off, 75,000 spectators waiting for the whistle. On the stadium screens, the lift doors open. Inside stand Carsten Caniglia and Friedrich Witte. In the commercial for HypoVereinsbank's FCB Exklusiv account, they play two FC Bayern München fans who experience astonishing things in the lift. On the second floor, for instance, in comes Hermann Gerland, the team's assistant coach, without whose nod no young talent gets anywhere. On the fourth floor it is the real stadium announcer Stephan Lehmann who leaves the fans staring in disbelief that they have just run into him. Just as in the moment when the legendary former FC Bayern München player Hasan Salihamidžić steps into the lift. And on the first floor, none other than the prominent Tatort detective Axel Milberg comes in. "It really was a cool number, the shoot. The FC Bayern München stars aren't actors, of course, but in the commercial they still have to say something. We rehearsed it a bit, and it really worked well." The result turned out so well that the commercial is shown before every home match in the regularly sold-out Allianz Arena. What it feels like when the whole stadium laughs at the scenes is something Carsten Caniglia can soon see for himself. HypoVereinsbank has invited him to an exclusive visit to the stadium box for the final Bundesliga match of the season on 20 May 2017. Even though he isn't really a big football fan, Carsten Caniglia's voice nonetheless starts to leap at the prospect. The stadium announcer Stephan Lehmann has also promised him a personal tour of the arena. Who could say no to that! And even though, at the end of the twelve-hour shoot, the ceiling of the lift came down on the actors' heads, they not only got away with a fright but, above all, with a result to be proud of!
A Big Home Game
