A Warm Welcome to André Eisermann

A Warm Welcome to André Eisermann

From this week, André Eisermann is not only new to the agency — he can also be seen, fresh on screen, in the ARD series "Bonn - Alte Freunde, neue Feinde".

"Bonn" is a political thriller set among rival intelligence services, old-boy networks in the former-Nazi milieu, and a woman caught between these fronts. The series is based on true events against the backdrop of the Cold War.

Alois Brunner (ANDRÉ EISERMANN) was Adolf Eichmann's most important associate. The fanatical anti-Semite bears responsibility for the deportation of hundreds of thousands of Jews. After the war's end, Brunner works under changing identities as a lorry driver in Bavaria or as a miner in North Rhine-Westphalia. When Brunner tries to flee abroad, the head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Otto John, does everything in his power to track down the war criminal and prevent his escape.
