A Kaleidoscope of the City of BerlinThe thriller series BLOCHIN, by director and writer Matthias Glasner, is a kaleidoscope of the city of Berlin and its people. Across five episodes, it tells the story of the officers of Homicide Squad 7, their families, friends and foes. A bewildering reality of life, full of pitfalls and treacherous depths, in which the underworld is inextricably bound up with the social elite, and personal fate with reasons of state. And in the midst of it all, a man who cannot escape his past.**"Where the magic began"**A comment from writer and director Matthias Glasner: "For me, BLOCHIN was always more of a drama than a crime series. We tell the stories of a handful of people in Berlin, some of whom happen to be police officers. Not entirely by chance, of course, because I love the genre and the opportunities it offers to tell of people in existential distress, of the fine line between life and death."
