"Extraordinary circumstances call for extraordinary measures" — Judith Steinhäuser, alias Conny, and her family take this literally, and so what is normally a contemplative Christmas turns, in the age of the coronavirus pandemic, into an offbeat and uproarious tug-of-war between clashing sets of values, in which everyone present gets their comeuppance… The grown-up children turn up in hazmat suits, while the father grumbles about the "Merkel rags" and, at the first little cough, is promptly put out of the door by the family, tinfoil hat and all. This cheering, satirical web series has now even made the leap to television. Oh, rejoice in the broadcast on 3 December 2020 at 11.35 pm on ARD.
