Roland Heilmann, chief physician of the Sachsenklinik, has fallen in love. The new woman in the beloved Leipzig series is called Katja Brückner (Julia Jäger) and brings a daughter with her. Emma Brückner is played by Vivien Sczesny, who is delighted to enrich this magnificent acting ensemble in the future. Emma also has a brother, Hanno (Kasimir Bause, pictured here), and together with Heilmann's three children from his first marriage, that would make five children.
