Lisa (Inez Bjørg David) and Patrick (Lucas Prisor) are a happy couple who want to start a family together. The catch: both already have families of their own, complete with ex-partners — Martin (Steve Windolf) and Katja (Anna Schäfer) — who have to be woven into the complicated patchwork arrangement. To make matters worse, the two sons, William (Levis Kachel) and Eddie (Fillin Mayer), happen to share the same birthday, so at the first joint birthday party at Eddie's dad Martin's place, the urge arises to find the absolute best present. To that end, Martin seeks advice from the assistant (Andreas Birkner) in the toy department. Will it all work out?
