Dr Martin Harder brings Traditional Chinese Medicine to Lüneburg. He learned it in Shanghai and then spent many years trying in vain to integrate TCM into the German healthcare system. For years he tried, with missionary zeal, to win the decision-makers over to his idea, but met only with rejection. Ever since, he has practised acupuncture out of conviction — but, in effect, privately and free of charge. Britta's enthusiasm for TCM encourages him to set up a department in Lüneburg.
