A family is on the verge of breaking apart under the peculiarities of their autistic daughter. Until the no less peculiar grandfather moves in with them, convinced that somewhere within his granddaughter lies a remarkable, exceptional talent. A shame, really, that it does not exist. Or perhaps it does — luckily!
Dieter plays Oskar Kern, the headstrong grandfather, freshly released from prison, while Julia Kovacs plays his extraordinary granddaughter.
This ARD feature film, based on the book by Silke Steiner, will move audiences just as much as it entertains them in a subtly comedic way.
