A humorous look at the dawn of German hip-hop and the spirit of the 1990s:
Three 17-year-old nerds from the West German provinces are certain: "Nothing ever happens around here." Until a Cadillac carrying Black GIs from the nearby US base rounds the corner, and a hip-hop beat thumping from its speakers changes their lives forever. From then on the three want only one thing: to rap. Because their schoolboy English is not up to brilliant rhymes, they end up by various detours at German rap and so find their own voice. As they confront outdated traditions and long-guarded family secrets, they edge ever closer not only to themselves but also, step by step, to the big stage.

The first double episodes start on 2 May 2022 at 9 pm, then a new episode every Monday at 9 pm.
