"Alle Jahre wieder", the Sommer family has only one goal: this time, Christmas Eve will be a harmonious celebration! Over roast goose and cinnamon stars, the assembled clan does its utmost to keep its emotions, and with them the festive evening, under control. Yet time and again the perfectly planned family gathering falls apart and descends into preposterous chaos. In this innovative mini-series, every episode takes place on Christmas Eve and exclusively in the living room of the entirely ordinary, average Sommer family.
