Arne Stephan back at the Stiftsruine in Bad Hersfeld from today
ZACH is the name of the famous role once played by Michael Douglas, and Arne Stephan is in all likelihood every bit as magnificent in it, for the festival audience in Bad Hersfeld can finally see the eagerly awaited revival premiere this evening.
So in the summer of 2025, too, audiences experience a dramatic audition process and, through stirring songs, get to know all the people prepared to give everything to sing and dance in the famous chorus line, on the boards that mean the world to them. Things become complicated when Zach's former lover Cassie, once a solo dancer, also auditions for the chorus... And for everyone, the gripping question remains: who will make it in the end?
